So a little while ago, you guys may have caught onto the fact that I've had to divert my attention from what i usually do to helping out a friend instead.

Well look no further as the app that i have been working on has been released. Its called "Mini Gay Me" and it's free to download on iOS :D Now this actually isn't the finished app it's just part of the app with only the avatar creator. the remainder of the app is still in development.

You can download it here https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/mini-gay-me/id853073374?mt=8
Now the real brains behind the product is my good friend Michael Othen (Founder and Director of Digicub ltd) - we've known each other for years. I'm really glad that he's making these kind of apps as otherwise there's not much around. You can check out his details via his website http://www.digicub.com/

You'll notice that i'm credited as "Mani" on his website. This is really just another name i like to use whilst doing work that borders between my professional life and my Monkeygogo life - i like to keep my worlds apart ;)

Now using this app you should be able to create your own Monkeygogo style characters and more. I've given it a try and there's so much variety you can create. You get control of a whole bunch of features such as body size, face shape, hair styles, and more. You can also dress your character however you like , the possibilities are endless. I managed to create myself and my BF using this app and subsequently created a card for our 10 year Anniversary (yeah we made it pass 10 years).

I suppose it's possible to create Kentaro, Michael and Marco using this app but i'll let you guys discover that on your own!

You'd think making an avatar creator style app would be an easy thing but man Apple are pretty stringent on whats acceptable and whats not. Like for example you'd think giant raping tentacles would be okay??? I mean jeeze someone needs to chillax .....

So give it a try and send me some of your avatars. It'll be nice to post up some of my followers avatars on my blog - and it'll make it a lot easier to do adult versions then in the future.

But keep an eye out for app updates again this is only in its infancy. New features to come soon hopefully.

  1. Are you going to make an Android version?

    1. You'll have to ask Digicub, as its their product not mine. I only supply the art assets. Though if it were me i'd throw it onto every platform

  2. I'm pretty sure they aren't going to make it for Android too.. and I was waiting for it. :/

    1. Haha never say never ;) Honestly i've spoken to Digicub about this before, really the focus is on finishing the main product on iOS first (which is due later this year) and then once that's sorted the prospect of porting these on android becomes more do-able. Its really more the logistics about time and resources as Digicub are only a few people.
