Top 10 Men: Rei

Now Rei from Breath of Fire 3 has been one of my fav characters ever in terms of RPG's.

Now I'm a bit of a furry lover but I'd like to think that he's more than just a bit of furry fandom. Rei's one of those tragic cool hero types, he loses everything quite early on in the game and when you rediscover him he's literally gone a bit mad.

He's bit of a big brother type of character watching over Teepo and Ryu. I think that's where the attraction is. Having that older male bond that's cool to hang around with but teaching you how to become a man at the same time.

Now I really enjoyed drawing him - in fact I've tried multiple times in the past - however this is the first time ever I managed to stick with it and finish it. I really like this image and I hope you guys out there like it as well.

  1. Rei was my favorite character in that game too, mostly for the reasons you already mentioned. Plus, the way he drew his two knives for a fight was just so COOL.

    And he looks good naked too. xD

    i would have taken on either Rei or Cray but i never really played BOF4. His knives are awesome and his Bezerk Were-tiger form is even cooler!
