Completed Fire Emblem Wii

Hey guys! I manged to complete Fire Emblem on the Wii the other day! what can i say? I simply loved it! Its my type of game plus the story was pretty good - it wrapped everything up nicely from where Fire Emblem on the GameCube left off. If you like strategy games - I highly recommend this! Plus some of the male characters are pretty sexy especially the Laguz!

Now thats I'm done with that i can finally get back onto some more drawing! But just as a quick back-up Can anyone recommend any other cool tactical RPG similar to Fire Emblem? Already done the Disgaea series also which i loved.

  1. Uh, if you haven't already try Final Fantasy Tactics. My favorite game of all time. It is for both the play station, if you can find it, and a remake for the PSP. Also try tactics ogre the knight of lodis for the GBA very very very good game as well.

  5. I love all things Fire Emblem! Though, out of them all, I enjoy FE10 the most... Six words: Ike, Muarim, Ranulf, Tibarn, Volug, Sothe.

  6. Final Fantasy Tactics, as stated above, is a wonderful choice. Also my favourite game of all time, oddly enough. If you can snatch the re-release for PSP (Subtitled The War of the Lions), go for it. Better translation, and a couple other tweaks, though framerate suffers during summons (Though it did in the original as well, just not as badly..)

Also, Vandal Hearts is a magnificent game. They just released Vandal Hearts 3 for the XBox Live Arcade, and I believe it's on the Playstation Network as well. Dunno how it is, haven't tried it yet, but the first two were amazing, albeit a bit difficult.

    Best of luck finding something!

  8. Yunno I tried to play FF tactics on the PSP and i just couldn't get into it! It was really good but i just struggle to get intot he mood. I think in part i really hated the grinding for XP - this is possibly why i liked the Advance Wars and Fire Emblem games was because there was more emphasis on tactics than XP.

  10. Yunno last i heard they were re-releasing phantom brave on the Wii - i will look forward to that! I also wanted to grive Cross Edge a try but heard mixed reviews about it - but then i found out it's not typically tactic like - yunno counting grids and making sure all your units are in the right place and so i've just not looked ito that any further.
